In an extremely short period of time, popular author, Brandon Sanderson, has hit the 100k Subscriber milestone on YouTube, which he celebrated with a short video and giveaway. Brandon's reaction to his newfound YouTube popularity seems to be one of genuine appreciation, shock, and gratitude. Watch out TikTok!

If you are interested in the Giveaway, according to Adam, Brandon's assistant:

All you need to do to enter the giveaway is email contest @ brandonsanderson.com with the subject "YouTube Giveaway" and be subscribed to Brandon's YouTube. Only one entry per person. If you enter more than once you will be disqualified from the giveaway.
I'll take submissions until Friday, September 25th, at 12:00 MDT. At which point I will randomly select the ten winners and contact them via email.

All about Brandon's Channel

While Brandon's channel has been active for some time, it wasn't until eight months ago that he began to do live signing sessions, where he answered questions from fans as he signed.

He immediately expanded the videos to include his Lecture series from his BYU 2020 Creative Writing Class.

And, as these livestreams have become quite popular, he has expanded them to include interviews with friends and fellow authors, such as his most recent with special guest, and writer, Mary Robinette.

Some of our favorite episodes are the ones where he tackles questions in shorter content, like this one posted a week ago: What is the Cosmere and where did it come from?

You can follow Brandon on YouTube. If you are not a fan of YouTube, you can still catch his livestreams on Twitter and Facebook, instead.
